Family, Life and Education; our hope for the future
The NFPTAI will host the European Institute of Family Life Education EIFLE /IEEF Annual General Meeting in Knock in October 2025. The European Institute for Family Life and Education / Institute Europeen D’Education Familiale was founded in 1992 with the objectives to promote the values of family life and family life education.
As part of that meeting there will be a scientific conference on Saturday 4th October at Knock House Hotel or by Zoom. The conference will focus on the importance of cherishing the family as the foundation for a stable society, respecting human life from conception to natural death and ensuring our children have access to a holistic education that nurtures their intellectual, psychological, social and spiritual development. Promoting Christian values in Family, Life and Education will ensure the future wellbeing of our society.
Conference speakers are chosen for their expertise, knowledge and experience in living, teaching and learning that God’s way is nature’s way.
Speakers on EDUCATION:
- Dr Fidelma Healy Eames, Education, Career and Wellbeing Consultant. Director and Lead Educator with Study and Careers, Enabling the learning of Christian values.
- Michelle Kelly, General Manager of Pure in Heart Ireland. Our fractured understanding of human sexuality, and the needed remedy.
Speakers on FAMILY:
- Patrick McCrystal, Director of Human Life International: Marriage, are you ready?
- Sinead Strong, Catholic Mothers Ireland: The vocation and true meaning of being a Catholic mother.
Speakers on LIFE:
- Dr Phil Boyle, Founder and Director of NeoFertility: Updates & peer reviewed scientific evidence for NeoFertility compared with outcomes from IVF official data from UK & USA.
- Kay O’Dwyer, Creighton Model Practitioner, NaPro and Fertility Care Centres Ireland: NaPro Fertility Care for Life, followed by a workshop on fertility charting .
We will celebrate mass in the apparition chapel Knock Shrine at 8am on Saturday 4th October.
The scientific conference will begin on Saturday at 9.15am with registration from 8.30am. in the main meeting room Knock House Hotel
There will be a buffet lunch for conference delegates at 1pm and the conference lectures will end by 5pm.
There is an opportunity to attend a complimentary tour of Knock Shrine museum and the creation garden or to attend a workshop on fertility charting.
Continuous Professional Development CPD points are availabe for medical, nursing and education professionals (6 internal CME)

There will be a charge of €60 to attend all or part of the scientific conference on Saturday 4th October. Family, Life, Education; our Hope for the Future. Tickets are available through Eventbrite.
There is an additional charge of €30 for the conference lunch also payable through Eventbrite.
Delegates not staying at the hotel are welcome to join EIFLE/IEEF for evening dinner on Friday and Saturday by paying the hotel reception directly.
